Kiawah Island is a gated resort island with 10 miles of private, unspoiled windswept beaches and 10,000 natural woodland acres. Kiawah’s attractions are legendary with something for everyone in the family. For nature lovers, there are 35 miles of paved, leisure trails to jog, bicycle or explore the beauty of the island. Kiawah’s Ocean Course was the site of the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and will be the site of the 2012 PGA Championship.
